st nicks run & fiesta
st nicks fair is so diff from those days when i was still schooling there. it's fun to go back to the place i once studied. although some memories are qte vague, my impression of it is still positive. they hired uncle ringo and had all these fun rides and game stalls. there's dis ride tt is cylinder-shaped where the people are standing in a circle with their backs leaning against the machine. first time i see got stand up and 'sit' the ride. it looks fun but dun feel lyk sitting cos of tummy ache.
food is v ex! i duno its due to rising prices or they want more profit or wad. i bought 4 satays for $5 (that's arnd 80c more than usual price), root beer float for $4, chocolate bubble tea for $3 (this still reasonable), 2 sticks of fishballs for $4.
Dr William Tan was there too..for the run i guess. im nt sure wad is the reason to why they are running. saw many pple i knw but where is jessica?

went to bj to get the peel fresh mangosteen goodie bag. fiona xie was the celebrity guest. now then i know her face so oval. she very pretty lar. anyway we didnt stay long cos my tummy ache lyk hell!

Easter surprise!
To get our easter eggs, mum and I went to GV Grand to watch The Leap Years. The show was ok to me but i think its weird to just huo4 chu1 qu4 ur love to someone u hardly meet and know. was very happy that there was a
Grand Easter Egg card beneath mum's seat! :D mine was taken from somewhere dumped at the back and exchanged for a mini egg.
we had dinner at Cz'Zar. they were holding a set menu promotion so we went there. Their appetizer is boiled peanuts! the set menu at $28.80 consists of rice, watermelon slices, black pepper chicken, salad prawn wif jellyfish (why nowadays put wasabi?), dumpling soup, chawanmushi, and curry fish. they really give alot of curry fish with tau pok. very worth it. and the dumpling soup is rich.

went to Suki Sushi for dinner cos haf the 40% discount coupon from U Weekly. They dont have as many varieties as Ichiban but the cheapest price for a plate of sushi is 99c. Nihon Mura also sells 99c sushi. shall go there someday.

360 from land to sky
grandma, grandpa, mum, bro and me sat the SG flyer today! it was a free ride cos i won the tickets..just by buying a bottle of Lux. (can't rmb its shampoo or shower foam) the security checkpoint and path to the capsule are similar to that in an airport. there was aircon in the capsule! and it was moving very slowly so cant feel the movement at all. before that we had to take photo in the background setting of a fake capsule. my family all was not posing and the camera only took me standing there. the girl in charge of that station is so gan-chiong..cant see we havent get ready and just give the command to take the picture. whatever. we paid 15 bucks for a remembrance pic.
ticket collection is also terrible. collected the tickets yday and it was so troublesome. i walked to the ticket counter back and forth thrice! the ticket booked was basic adult and the system recorded child. so had to go and take $. then the date was printed wrongly. blah blah blah so many paper to waste.
went to Tung Lok's Noble House for ala carte buffet dinner. the setting is very grand. glad that grandma liked the food. but we still spent $100 despite using a $100 voucher.

leap of joy
Earlier this march I thought about "What is the most creative way a girl can propose to a guy?" I used the idea of the cake made by Sanshun in the show I Love Sam-Soon! the diff is she made it for a customer and my story plot is for a marriage proposal. i must quickly go watch The Leap Years before it's gone!

my worst prize collection up to date. had to go all the way to boon lay and unfortunately i forgot to bring the receipt! wth. they insisted that the receipt is to be presented upon prize collection and refused receiving by post or email. its not like anybody would know. im okay with it but isnt it better not to let me on a wasted trip? im thinking of what to do with my
24 packs of Halls candies.

Sunday flavours and colours
went to NUS open house. my schedule was talks all the way. Admissions at 2.20pm (went late), Arts & Social Science at 3pm and Business at 4pm. then we took many brochures + pens from the faculties' exhibitions. didnt see anything from the CCA booths cos they were already packing up! i kept searching for the Singtel goodie bag but we couldnt find it. luckily we asked an NUS indian guy and he gave his to us! Thank you uncle!
i realise the common thing about these uni goodie bags nowadays is that they are environmental bags with practically nothing in them. which is why i have to go around the exhibitions and booths to source for the goodies.
later on we went to the F&B fair at Suntec. its almost the same as last year's, except that e-donuts is there considering the donut craze and sweet potato. no sight of any yogurt booth. we had a bit of this and that as dinner.
And I got my iPod Nano today! It's a 2nd prize that I had won from the Recruit.net - Creative Feedback Challenge. Amazing its
